Maybe this is less of a blog entry and more of something that should be posted on my social media, but I’m getting really tired of the uber-aggressive sales reps who call me, email me, call me again, send me LinkedIn messages, and try to get 15 minutes of my time to sell me something I didn’t ask for.
Time to stop.
I’m too stubborn and too independent for this game. When I want something I’ll ask for it. If I have questions while doing my homework, I’ll ask you. Hopefully you’ll just answer the questions.
The tactics are getting slimier.
The reputations are getting dirtier.
I like “account managers” who handle everything I need when I need it. I can’t stand “sales reps” who try to get on my calendar to pitch me stuff I never asked for and don’t have money to buy.
